A Session with Peter Manning Robinson
Tuesday, August 1st, 2006
So the past two days have been something cool. Dan and I were asked by Chaton Studio owner Otto D’agnolo to come in and help record a symphony project–something Otto (who is frequented by DMX and has gold and platinum awards for his work with Kenny Rogers) is only treated to once every few years.
Since Dan specializes in recording acoustical ensembles, it was a perfect match. The composer/producer of the project was Peter Manning Robinson. You may have heard Peter’s work on CBS’s “Without a Trace.” This project, however, was something of a demo reel for him. It was a long couple of days but a fun change of pace nonetheless.
