It’s official! Conan: The Musical will premiere on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Tempe Pollack Cinemas as part of our first annual “Catch All” Film Festival. Conan will be released online the following day, November 13. Seating is limited so stay tuned for ticket details. Tickets will be $5 and you will probably be able to order them in advance through us personally or pick them up before the screening.
We are still accepting submissions for short films through November 1st so get them to us ASAP with your application form to be considered for one of the prizes/gift baskets! All genres are encouraged. There is no entrance fee so if you’ve got a film, you’ve really got no reason not to submit. The accpeted films will receive two complimentary tickets to the event so, seriously, SUBMIT YOUR FILM!!!

On another note, we were debating back and forth whether to go with Harkins Theatres or the more modest Tempe Pollack Cinemas. Let me tell you that after meeting with one of the general managers from the Pollack Cinemas, I don’t think I will ever consider Harkins or AMC or any other corporate theatre for a showing again. This theatre really caters to the independent film crowd and makes it reasonable and possible for a few film students from the valley to really put on a decent show. Not to mention, the ambience of this place is just way cool. Chandaliers, a cool little Hollywood minature on the mantel…
